7 years back, me and my husband were both busy in our 9-5 jobs.
He saw an opportunity, took a chance and today we have a successful bag manufacturing factory that doesn’t just sell in Bangladesh, but across the world!
When you’re in a job, you’re mostly satisfied with the salary.
There are perks
There’s stability
– But the passion for achieving your dreams
– Waking up every day with enthusiasm
– Having control over your time
These aspects are usually missing.
It was the same for me and my husband.
He used to work in an IT company
That’s when he saw a gap in the market – a lot of companies needed laptop bags and backpacks for their employees/stakeholders
But there wasn’t enough supply in Bangladesh
Most companies were importing it from outside at high costs
And so we decided, why not fill this gap?
Why not start manufacturing bags locally to meet the needs of such companies?
It’s 2024, and I can’t believe how far we’ve come from that small idea!
Today, we have a thriving bag-manufacturing business
Supplying different types of bags locally and internationally!
– It wasn’t easy
– There were many highs and lows
– We also gave up after a year of trial production in 2018 and restarted again during Covid.
But I don’t want to talk about that today
What I want to talk about is…opportunity
